So who am I?
My Name is Sam Hughes, and I am an Audio Engineer.
I love sound and music and have worked passionately with both since I picked up a guitar when I was 13. I then progressed from just playing guitar to composing, using Sibelius during my Music A Level.
I then studied BSc (Hons) Music Technology and Audio Systems from the University of Huddersfield which I thoroughly enjoyed and was the most educating and enriching section of my life. Throughout this degree I pursued my love of audio and greatly expanded my knowledge of various forms of audio as well as electronics.
Pretty much if you can hear it, I can do it.
I specialise in Post-Production and Sound Design, but also have extensive experience with composition,live sound, music/band recordings and mixing.
I am currently the Lead Sound Designer for a project for Water on the Rocks Ltd. The project is a 1950′s Sci-Fi film Directed by Kenneth Barker, the head of Water on the Rocks Ltd.
